Blackboard's Digital Drop Box
How to get your file to your teacher's Digital Drop Box.
.
I'll bet you didn't know that you as well as your teacher has a Digital Drop Box.
From the left sidebar, towards the bottom, click on Course Tools.
.
Digital Drop Box is usually about the 3rd one down. Click on it.
.
Click the Add File button and choose the file. This is what most students do.
Fill out notes if needed and click submit.
Notice the window that pops up says it won't be submitted to the drop box, only added to your own Bb area within that course. Click ok.
.
.
The next screen that comes up has buttons for Add File, Send File, Remove.
Now the file must be sent to the teacher's Digital Drop Box.
Click the Send File button.
Now you can either select a the file already in your Ddb or upload a new file.
.
If the Send File button had been chosen first, it should actually send the file to the teacher's Ddb but if you click the Add File button, a file is added to your Ddb area. This is good because there is a backup should the teacher lose the file in their drop box.
