Florida Manatees 20180112 to 20180115

We paddled several places: Weeki Wachee River,
Chassahowitzka River, Ichetucknee River, and Silver River.
We saw lots of birds, manatees, and other animals.
These pictures were not all taken by me. Thanks to Paul Smith,
Cyndy Falgout, and Anne Miller for some of the best pictures.
Ready to head out.
Manatee on the Weeki Wachee. That orange kayak is 10'3" long.
Now figure how big that manatee is. That manatee was a small one.
Spider Lily on the Weeki Wachee
They painted their bulkhead on the Weeki Wachee.

Pelican at the dock at Chassahowitzka.
Turtles on the Ichetucknee.
This woodpecker on the Ichetucknee didn't mind me at all.
He just kept looking for bugs in the bark. I was only about 5 feet away.
Otter on the Ichetucknee

Yes, there were aligators but we only saw them on the Silver River.
