Plum Azalea

Notice how thin the top soil is and how much it hangs over the edge. The signs above that say to stay behind the fence really mean it!

Did someone say squirrel???
Daisy is 11.5 years old in this picture. She carried her food and all her water.
She also carried some of my water. She carried 5 lbs.
I know you said squirrel but where is it??
Daisy did fine. She was still trying to pull on the way up the last hill.
but she did sleep all the way home and all night.

Looking up into the branches and leaves of a Paw Paw tree.

There was very little water. Last time I was here, the water was at least 2 inches deep.
Look closely. There is a platform that fell from above. The canyon walls are still eroding very fast.

I love these erosion formations. They look like little cities. The rocks on top of each tiny column allow for eroding around but not underneath them which create the look of a tiny city.

The red dirt dissolved and spilled downward, solidifying in the process.
It looks like plant roots but its just dirt.
