| Notice the next two pictures. In one, Anne seems shorter than Laura. In the other, Laura is the same height as Anne. In reality, Anne is about 2 inches shorter than Laura. The boards they are standing on are exactly level as we checked the level at the bottom of the picture. We brought our own level as well as a ball from a fresh can of racquet balls to test.
