Horshoe Bend and on to Carlsbad Caverns
 
Pictures of this spot from a 2001 trip were better but I didn't get as close to the edge as this time. This trip, it was about 9am and the sun was not over the rocks. It casts a large shadow until about noon making the picture almost impossible to take. Notice how close to the edge I was.
 
Notice how sharp the cliffs are.
This was the coolest rock. As it was eroding, it left those little red balls which are harder components than the ones washed or blown away.
 
This horseshoe bend is hard to see, even from a nearby hill.
