Late December 2005
UNO's main campus on Lakeshore Drive
Power poles began to spring up everywhere to supply clean power as well as power to the buildings with none. Dwight is the man in the bucket. He put most of the wires on the poles that I saw. By January 3, 2006, 9 out of more than 30 buildings will be cleared for occupancy. Power is only one of the many problems facing UNO before allowing faculty, staff, and students into the buildings. Many of the buildings were looted and most have a good bit of mold damage. These poles will supply power until a permanent power solution is implemented. That should be about 2 years. By the way, Dwight makes really great grilled ribs! Thanks again, Dwight.

Dwight, keep in touch. Let us know how you are doing.
